If you has been living Korea, you has got stressed from studying English. that means we can't avoid learning English eventhough it's not our mother tongue. So that's why we always think how to study and improve english.
according to presentation, I think entire topic is changing our education system. and they give some way to change our education system. in presentation, I'm interested in when we have to teach the english kids who they are before enterance into elementary school. when we debated about that question, some group said it's not neccesary to teach english to kids. however I think If we have ability to teach english to kids, I suggest teaching it to them.
the first reason is it makes kids to be interested about english. If you don't hear the english before we publicaly learn english, you will get embarrased and not fun. and then you might lose interest learning it like me. in my case I didn't study english before enter the school and english is really difficult so I never study english before I'm junior in universit. it shows us it's really imortant to first encounter something.
second reason is it helps about pronounciation. when we are getting old, it's too hard to change our pronounciation. it's not really important to coversation with foreinor in my opinion but you think about why we need good pronounciation. I think pronounciation give us confidence of speaking language. and if you have confidence, you can speak english whenever, whereever you want
third reason is our education system. I already metioned korea need to change English education system. but it's too hard to change education system because of SAT(scholastic ability test). however if you study it when you are kids, you will get different education system. I think when we teach english to kids, our purpose make interesting to kids because kids don't need to think about getting good score.
for the reasons, we need to teach english to kids if you can afford to teach it to them.
I know that early-childhood English edudcation is important. It will give children confidence. Also, they can acquire a good pronunciation of English. But, I am not of like mind in you. English is not the essential requirement which takes forceful steps. If we appeal to forceful measures to children for learning English, it will stress them and lose their interest about English.
답글삭제Studying english at an early age is good for their living. But the problem is the cost. It needs a lot of money. If parents are poor, how can their children get many oppotunities??
답글삭제We have too many test of english such as TOEIC,TOFLE and so on. they should be abolished. or they should be integrated.
